MAXIMIZING YOUR POTENTIAL AS A GLORIOUS YOUTH


  The topic come at the crucial time when the youth has been taught as the only way to efficiently use our God giving talent is by looking inwardly and getting the gift use in any area of our life and world, yet so far the few people that has the opportunity  to fulfill life and had not had any cause to regret has made this possible only by following simple guiding step(NEHEMIAH AND DANIEL),which are listed below.But before we go to that let us understand the meaning of our core self, YOUTH
THE YOUTH HAS DEFINE BY THE BOOK OF TRUTH:Youth is describe as adult person, vibrant and can defend himself and his country (Num 1:3)
A person who can fetch or cater for himself/herself (Ex30:14)
When the Bible specify from 20years and above.
THE YOUTH AS DEFINE BY THE BRITISH AND NIGERIA CONSTITUTION; A person of Age 18 to 35
THE YOUTH AS DEFINE BY LONGMAN DICTIONARY: Someone who is old enough to be considered legally responsible, and can for example vote in election a d get married without their parents permission
Now anybody that fall under the categories listed above is considered to be youth , even though our society has made us handicap by still looking up to our parents for means of livelihood yet the only person that can limit anyone is his or her own personal self.
Let us considered what is potential;
POTENTIAL; Potential is considered to be talent qualities or ability that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness.
Or natural ability that could develop to make you very good in something, by Longman dictionary
.
From the definition above we can discover that potential can be learn or develop within period of time contrary to some people opinion that potential must be inborn act or habit even though it involve talent qualities sometimes.
   Before we can maximize your potential, you need to know what your potential is but the only way you can know your potential is by KNOWING WHO THE POTENTIAL GIVER IS , look inwardly and identify the gift, talent or the thing you can do best but if you don't know who the potential giver is you can not do anything.So many writer have told us that the only way to know your potential is by identify what you can do best even though to some extent they are right but the only thing that is there is that you may continue to search and search , even use google search engine to know yet you will still be on the lost , so the best and only way to know your potential is KNOW WHO THE POTENTIAL GIVER IS.
 The potential you think you know HOW WILL YOU MAXIMIZE IT
1.KNOW GOD WHO IS YOUR CREATOR:There is no way a person can know how to operate a machine except his has been taught or direct by the manufacturer, so many people has lost it and are still wondering because they think they can do it all, they have the brain, the knowledge, the capacity and the capability to do it all, yes it is possible but are you really using it the way the creator want you to use it.I like the man,Saul then later turn Paul, very intelligent, a lawyer who know the law in and out, who fear nobody, who can boldly stand and say anything  but what was he using it for, to prosecute the Christian (Act 9), know this that A POTENTIAL THAT IS wrongly APPLY WILL RESULT TO FRUSTRATED DESTINY.know who your God is in order to maximize your potential.God has given  everybody a potential for him or her to fulfill destiny's but as we know , there are two side of a coin, you will only see which side that is visible to you, so if you are with God He show you what He want you to use the potential you have and vice versus.
2. ACCEPT GOD AND FOLLOW HIS LEAD:(ROMAN 8:14):After you have recognized Him, then accept Him as your Lord and saviour, then follow His lead.You are yet to be the true child of your father until you know and recognize His voice , imagine if a father give his child material or money, there is possibility that the child will waste the resources if he failed to listen to instruction from his father, he may use it in another way that will not be useful to the father, so until you know how to listen to who your father is you may just be a wasted resources.
3.ASK GOD FOR DIRECTION:Since the time God created Adam in the garden and He gave him Eve, when issued happened Adam said "it is the woman whom thou gave to be with me " (Gen 3:12),God had stopped given anything to His people except they ask, so if you think you know and you failed to ask you are not helping yourself. When you know , discovered and you feel what you can do best, then ask God for direction, what to do with it, and how to go about it, don't forget that a branch cannot survive outside it tree.
  Now when you live in the world , you will maximize your potential through the world and base on worldly standard and will end up getting your reward from the world master who is SATAN  and vice versa.The worst calamity that has befallen this generation is the teaching we have heard in the past that has taken away the fact that nobody can use hi or her potential to enrich the world of darkness that will be fit to enter the kingdom of God,SO WHEN YOU WANT TO MAXIMIZE YOUR POTENTIAL, THINK TWICE, don't forget to think about the heavenly gain of your potential as well,EARTH AND HEAVEN OR EARTH AND HELL.
4.WORK ON YOUR POTENTIAL: Don't Just sit on past glory, don't be an old star,work on your potential ,add value to what you know and get the best out of yourself. We are no more in the era tailor but fashion, no one is ready to patronise a Carpenter but furniture maker, I will not make the mistake of taking my hair to hair maker but stylists, so when you sit there and failed to add value to your potential you are dieing inwardly and the world is getting you pass,so also you will complain of poverty and nobody will see you.God is never lazy He work day,and night and still doing so until now,so wake up and do something
